How to write order routing rules for 3PLs

If destination, SKU, category, or order value matches, ShipIt assigns the partner automatically. Priority is explicit so ops can predict the outcome.

Start with destination, then SKU

A typical stack: EU countries to your Tilburg partner, jewelry SKUs to an in-house studio, high-value orders to the warehouse with insurance, everything else to the cheapest 3PL. Empty condition lists are catch-alls — put them last.

Operators that stay predictable

• eq / in for country and region lists
• contains for SKU prefixes such as SKU-JWL
• gte on order value in cents for insurance routing

Connect the store first
